Afternoon everyone!
For this post, I am going to give you my understanding of digital citizenship.
Digital citizenship is when a person is engaged in screen time (being connected to the big wide web) and throughout this time making sure you are internet safe. For example being careful on what personal information you share online or what internet sites you enter.
I believe I am very careful with my usage of the internet and how I go about using it. I very rarely share photos on social media (because once its on there, it stays on there right?) and I never accept people I don’t know. I guess it goes back to being a kid and my parents telling me not to talk to strangers and give out personal information. I guess I took that advice and applied it to when I am using the internet.
This weeks learning path we had to complete two quizzes. Below are my results.
Quiz one was about bullying: I got 3 out of 4. Questions 1, 2 and 4 I got correct. Question 3 I got wrong, I was a bit surprised that cyberbully wasn’t the main form of bullying in secondary schools.
Quiz two: Cyber smart. I ended up getting 24 out of 25. I was pretty sure the cat web page looked safe! Tricky.
From both quizzes, it showed me that I had a fair understanding of digital citizenship and it even showed me not to trust cat web pages!
Until next time.
